Terms of Service

Effective date: August 4, 2026

These Terms govern your use of TmCount’s web and mobile apps. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use TmCount.

The service

TmCount helps you track shared expenses, balances, and related group activity. Features may differ by plan (Free, Premium, or partner TM). We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice when practical.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse TmCount: no unlawful content, no attempts to break security or scrape the service at abusive scale, no harassment of other users, and no use that interferes with others’ enjoyment of the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the expense and group data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data as needed to run TmCount (including showing it to other members of your groups). You confirm you have the right to share that information with us and with those members.

Plans and payments

Free accounts have limits (for example a maximum number of groups). Premium is billed through Stripe on the web or through the App Store / Google Play on native apps. Subscription terms, renewals, and cancellations follow the applicable store or Stripe customer portal. Taxes may apply.

Free users may see third-party advertisements. Premium and TM accounts do not show ads.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. It forms part of your agreement with us.

Disclaimers

TmCount is provided “as is” for personal expense tracking. We do not provide professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Balances and suggested settlements are tools only; verify amounts before transferring money outside the app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TmCount and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim or (b) fifty euros (€50).

Termination

You may stop using TmCount at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from your registered address. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date on this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
